To address the research problem, the researcher tried to answer the following questions:<br/>5. What are the higher-order thinking skills that should be developed for secondary school students in history?<br/>6. What are the available higher-order thinking skills for first-year secondary students in history?<br/>7. What is the suggested scenario for using a strategy based on differentiated education to develop higher-order thinking skills among secondary school students through teaching history?<br/>8. What is the effectiveness of the proposed strategy based on differentiated education in developing higher thinking skills among secondary school students through teaching history?<br/>Findings:<br/>3. There is a statistically significant difference at the level of significance (0.01) between the mean scores of students in the pre and post applications of higher thinking skills test for each skill separately in favor of the post application.<br/>4.
