| Summary, etc. | Thirty patients who suffered from unilateral knee OA. They were recruited from the Police Hospital, Nasr city, Egypt. They were assigned randomly into two groups equal in number, 15 patients each. Control group (A) received a conventional physical therapy program while experimental group (B) received the same program in addition to ITB release by using local vibration. Treatment sessions were admitted 3 times a week for 4 weeks. When compared to the pre-treatment condition, the pain intensity decreased, PPT declined, LL functional activity improved, and increased ROM of knee joint was noted in both groups |

| Summary, etc. | تم اجراء البحث علي 30 مريض ؛ وتم تقسيم المرضي عشوائيا الي مجموعتين متساويتين في العدد ويمثلان المجموعة الاولي (مجموعة ضابطة ) وتضم 15 مريض والمجموعة الثانية( مجموعة الدراسة) وتضم 30 مريض أيضا و تلقت المجموعة الاولي برنامج علاج طبيعي تقليدي فقط والذي يحتوي علي جلسات موجات صوتية؛ جلسات تنبيه كهربائي وتمرينات علاجية وتشمل تمرينات تقوية واستطالة للعضلات مثل الامامية الرباعية- عضلة الساق والقصبة بينما تلقت المجموعة الثانية برنامج العلاج الطبيعي التقليدي بالإضافة الي استخدام الهزاز لاسترخاء الشريط الحرقفي الظنبوبي وقد أجريت القياسات لهاتين المجموعتان قبل وبعد الفترة العلاجية التي امتدت الي أربعة أسابيع وقد اثبتت التحليل الاحصائي وجود تحسن ذو دلالة إحصائية واضحة لمرضي المجموعتين عند المقارنة بين النتائج قبل وبعد العلاج لكل مجموعة كذلك وجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين المجموعتين لصالح مجموعة الدراسة في تحسن معدل الألم ودرجة الألم و التحسن الوظيفي للأطراف السفلية وزيادة مجال حركة مفصل الركبة |
