| Summary, etc. | Serum taurine measurement is used as a warning sign to diagnose<br/>and prevent diabetic nephropathy problems.<br/>method: Following its acceptance, ninety diabetes patients (female and male)<br/>were selected from Ahmed Maher Hospital, with 80 of them being divided into<br/>four different categories (control-group for diabetes, early stage-group, group-<br/>before-dialysis, and group-after-dialysis) in accordance with its Twenty diabetic<br/>controlled individuals without renal damage were subjected to a comprehensive<br/>clinical assessment, investigation, and biochemical analysis. Ten healthy, non-<br/>diabetic individuals who are candid and in good health signed up to volunteer.<br/>All patients and volunteers had thorough clinical examinations, investigations,<br/>and analysis of biochemistry (lipid profile, kidney, and liver function), in<br/>addition to blood glucose, HbA1c, and newly discovered biomarker taurine,<br/>beside urine sample to measure Alb / creatinine Ratio in urine.<br/>Results: lipid profiles, urine creatinine levels, and serum albumin levels for all<br/>patients did not differ significantly in comparison to those in the control-group,<br/>according to the findings (P>0.05). liver function in all groups showed no<br/>difference across groups, although values in all patient groups in comparison to<br/>the frank control group showed a significant change (p<0.05). all patient groups<br/>in comparison to the frank control group showed very highly significant<br/>alterations in kidney function (urea - creatinine) values (p<0.00). Moreover,<br/>there have been highly significant in HbA1c and blood sugar (P>0.001).<br/>Contrarily, depending to the severity of their diabetic nephropathy, all diabetic<br/>patients' serum taurine levels extremely significant decreased when in<br/>comparison to the results of the group of healthy controls (P<0.000).<br/>Conclusion: Lower serum-taurine levels are found in people with more severe<br/>types of diabetic nephropathy. The presence of taurine is thought to serve as an<br/>early warning sign (prognostic) that can help diagnose and treat diabetic renal<br/>impairment problems. |

| Summary, etc. | مرض السكري هو من أكثر الأمراض شيوعا في الدول المتقدمة وبالأخص مصر ولقد ازداد بشكل ملحوظ في الآونة الأخيرة. ومن أهم مضاعفات المرض إنتشارا هو إعتلال الكلي السكري . ومن ناحية أخري ، فإن التورين حمض أميني له نشاط ملحوظ كمضاد للأكسدة ، وأيضا له تأثيرات نافعه مهمه علي الجسم البشري. كحمايه الكلي والكبد وكذلك حمايه القلب والأوعية الدموية ، وله تأثير خافض لسكر الدم ، وتأثير مقلل للدهون المشبعة عاليه الكثافة في الدم. وفي الآونة الأخيرة، تم قياس مستوي التورين في مصل الدم كوسيلة للتنبؤ المبكر بسرطان بطانة الرحم وسرطان الثدي. <br/>وقد تم تصميم هذه التجربة لدراسة وقياس التورين في مصل الدم لجميع مرضي السكري كعلامة ودلالة مبكرة ضد حدوث إعتلال الكلي السكري. وتم إختيار ثمانين مريضا بالسكري من مستشفى أحمد ماهر التعليمي بالإضافة الي عشره من المتطوعين وقد تم تقسيمهم جميعا الي خمس مجموعات طبقا للتشخيص : المجموعة الأولي هم المتطوعين ، المجموعة الثانية مرضي السكري من غير مضاعفات في الكلي ، المجموعة الثالثة هي المرحلة الأولية من إعتلال الكلي السكري ، المجموعة الرابعة هي مرحلة ما قبل الغسيل الكلوي ، المجموعة الخامسة هي مرحلة ما بعد الغسيل الكلوي . وفي هذه المجموعات تم قياس الكيمياء الحيوية وتركيز التورين في مصل الدم لجميع المرضي بالإضافة إلى مجموعة المتطوعين .<br/>لم تظهر وظائف الكبد في جميع المجموعات أي اختلاف عبر المجموعات ، على الرغم من أن القيم في جميع مجموعات المرضى مقارنة بمجموعة المتطوعين أظهرت تغيرًا. علي النقيض قياس الكوليستيرول والبروتين الدهني عالي ومنخفض الكثافة لم يظهر أي تغير في جميع المرضي مقارنة بمجموعه المتطوعين. وأيضا أظهرت النتائج تغيرا ملحوظا جدا بين جميع المراحل المختلفة من السكري ومجوعة المتطوعين في وظائف الكلي ( الكرياتينين – اليوريا ). وكذلك اثبتت النتائج وجود البومين في البول لجميع المرضي وذلك إشاره علي وجود إعتلال في وظائف الكلي. وأظهرت أيضا النتائج ارتفاع ملحوظ في الهيموجلوبين السكري ومستوي السكر في الدم في جميع مجموعات مرضي السكري مقارنه بالمتطوعين . والمدهش في النتائج هو إنخفاض مستوي التورين في مصل الدم بشكل ملحوظ , وهذا الإنخفاض ينخفض تنازليا مع مراحل إعتلال الكلي السكري. <br/>نستنتج فيما سبق أن قياس مستوي التورين في مصل الدم بجانب فحص إنزيمات الكلي بشكل منتظم لجميع الأشخاص الذين يعانون من مرض السكري هو علامة مبكره لتشخيص إعتلال الكلي السكري.<br/> |
