Summary, etc. | Touch screen technology may affect the hand skills<br/>development of preschool children. Purpose: The purpose of this study<br/>was to investigate the effect of touch screen devices use on fine motor<br/>skills of preschool children. Subjects and Methods: The study sample<br/>included fifty children aged 4-5 years who had frequently used interactive<br/>tablet media (group A) and fifty children of the same age who hadn‘t<br/>used interactive tablet media (group B). ).Socioeconomic status was similar<br/>in both groups (high level) and was assessed by Socioeconomic Status<br/>Scale (SES). Fine motor skills were evaluated using Peabody<br/>Developmental Motor Scale-2 (PDMS-2). Results: There was a significant<br/>decrease in raw scores, age equivalent, standard scores and percentile rank<br/>of grasping and visual motor integration of group A compared with that of<br/>group B. Conclusion: Fine motor skills of children who used touch screen<br/>devices for one hour less a day for 6 months were significantly better than<br/>those of children who used touch screen devices more than two hours a day<br/>for 6 months |

Summary, etc. | قد تؤثر تكنولوجيا شاشات اللمس على تنمية المهارات اليدوية لدى أطفال ما قبل المدرسة. الغرض من الدراسة: كان الغرض من هذه الدراسة هو معرفة تأثير استخدام أجهزة شاشات اللمس على المهارات الحركية الدقيقة لدى أطفال ما قبل المدرسة. طرق البحث واساليبه: شملت عينة الدراسة خمسين طفلاً تتراوح أعمارهم بين 4-5 سنوات ممن استخدموا الوسائط اللوحية التفاعلية بشكل متكرر (المجموعة أ) وخمسين طفلاً من نفس العمر لم يستخدموا الوسائط اللوحية التفاعلية (المجموعة ب). ).كانت الحالة الاجتماعية والاقتصادية متشابهة في كلا المجموعتين (المستوى العالي) وتم تقييمها بمقياس الحالة الاجتماعية والاقتصادية. تم تقييم المهارات الحركية الدقيقة باستخدام مقياس البيبودى التطورى الحركى- 2. النتائج: كان هناك انخفاض كبير في الدرجات الأولية، ومعادل العمر، والدرجات القياسية والرتبة المئوية للفهم والتكامل الحركي البصري للمجموعة (أ) مقارنة بالمجموعة (ب). الاستنتاج: المهارات الحركية الدقيقة للأطفال الذين يستخدمون شاشة اللمس ساعه او اقل يوميا اكانت أفضل من تلك التي يستخدمها ساعتين او اكثر يوميا. |
