| Summary, etc. | This study was conducted to evaluate the feasibility of patient specific titanium mesh via trans-antral approach on correcting enophthalmos and orbital volume in patients with recent unilateral orbital floor fracture by means of clinical and radiographic findings.<br/>The present study was conducted on 7 male participants.<br/>The patients’ selection was done through the out-patient clinics in oral and maxillofacial surgery department of faculty of dentistry, Cairo university, Egypt.<br/>The clinical and radiographic parameters were observed, analyzed and carefully reported at different follow-up intervals (pre-operative, 1-day, 1-week, 1-month, 3-months and 1-year post-operatively). <br/>The study shows no differences between trans-antral intra-oral approach and traditional trans-cutaneous approaches using patient specific titanium mesh regarding enophthalmos correction and decreasing orbital volume, with superior results in decreasing intra-operative mesh modification and thereby shorter the surgery duration and higher contour accuracy and decreasing post-operative complication such as ectropion, entropion and hypertrophic scarring. <br/><br/> |

| Summary, etc. | أجريت هذه الدراسة لتقييم اختبار فعالية استخدام شريحة خاصة بالمريض مصنعة بدقة الكمبيوتر لإصلاح كسور أرضية الحجاج عبر نهج عابر للمجرى الأنفي (الغار) .<br/>أجريت الدراسة الحالية على 7 ذكور مشاركين. <br/> تم اختيار المرضى من خلال العيادات الخارجية في قسم جراحة الفم والوجه والفكين بكلية طب الفم والأسنان، جامعة القاهرة مصر.<br/>تمت ملاحظة النتائج السريرية والشعاعية وتحليلها والإبلاغ عنها بعناية في فترات متابعة مختلفة (قبل الجراحة، 1 يوم، 1 أسبوع، 1 شهر، 3 أشهر و1 سنة بعد الجراحة).<br/>أظهرت الدراسة عدم وجود فروق بين الطريقتين فيما يتعلق بتصحيح سقوط العين للداخل وتصحيح حجم التجويف المداري للعين، مع نتائج متفوقة في تقليل الحاجة الى تعديل الشريحة أثناء العملية وتقليل وقت العملية ودقة انحناء أعلى لصالح مجموعة الدراسة.<br/> نقر بأننا قد قرأنا العمل الحالي وأنه في رأينا مناسب تماما من حيث النطاق والجود كأطروحة نحو الإيفاء لمتطلبات درجة الماجستير في جراحة الفم والوجه والفكين<br/> |
