| Summary, etc. | The current study used the HUMAC balance system to investigate the <br/>relationship between anthropometric measurements and postural stability in <br/>children with type 1 diabetes.<br/> Sixty children with type 1 diabetes, ages 7 to 14 years, have had the disease <br/>for less than 5 years and have no additional complications.<br/> The current study's findings demonstrated that children with higher BMI had <br/>lower sensory integration and balance when standing on a solid/ soft surface <br/>with their eyes closed. There was a statistically significant relationship between <br/>height and COP score and sensory integration, particularly when standing on a<br/>solid/soft surface with one eye closed.<br/>Conclusion<br/> Children with type 1 diabetes who have a greater BMI and height have <br/>poor postural stability, especially when standing on a solid/ soft surface with <br/>their eyes closed. Early diagnosis of these deficiencies is recommended to lower <br/>the risk of maturity issues.<br/>Recommendations <br/> The study's findings highlighted the need for the following additional <br/>researchers:<br/>1) Examine the effect of the duration of the disease on balance in children <br/>with T1D. <br/>2) Examine the impact of balance disturbance in children with T1D of a big <br/>sample size and various ages.<br/>73<br/>3) Examine the impact of visual impairments on balance in children with <br/>T1D.<br/>4) Study balance problems in children who have had a controlled diabetes.<br/>5) Study balance problems in adolescents with polyneuropathy.<br/>6) Compare with normal population as a control group. <br/> |

| Summary, etc. | عنوان البحث :<br/>القياسات الانثروبومترية وعلاقتها بالاتزان عند الاطفال المصابين بداء السكري النوع الاول<br/>الهدف من البحث:<br/>دراسة العلاقة بين القياساتالانثروبومتريةوالتوازن عندالاطفالالمصابينبداءالسكريالنوعالاول.<br/>مواد البحث وأساليبه:<br/>تم اجراء البحث على 60 طفل تم اختيارهم من العيادات الخارجية لمرضى السكر من مستشفى ابو الريش،تتراوح اعمارهم من 7 الى 14 سنة، وقد أصيبوا بداء السكري النوع الاول منذ مدة لا تزيد عن خمس سنوات ، ولايعانون من أي امراض اخرى.<br/>النتائج:<br/>يعاني الأطفال المصابون بداء السكري من النوع الاول والذين لديهم مؤشر كتلة جسم وطول أكبر من ثبات وضعي ضعيف، خاصةً عند الوقوف على سطح ناعم وأعينهم مغلقة . يوصى بالتشخيص المبكر لهذه العيوب لتقليل مخاطر مشاكل النضج.<br/>التوصيات:<br/>نوصي بإجراء الدراسات التالية :<br/>1) فحص تأثير مدة المرض على التوازن عند الأطفال المصابين بالنوع الأول من المرض.<br/>2) فحص تأثير اضطراب التوازن لدى الأطفال الذين يعانون من داء السكر يالنوع الاول لعينة أكبر وأعمار مختلفة.<br/>3) فحص تأثير الإعاقات البصرية على التوازن لدى الأطفال المصابين بالسكري من النوع الأول.<br/>4) دراسة مشاكل التوازن لدى الأطفال الذين يعانون من مرض السكري الخاضع للسيطرة.<br/>5) دراسة مشاكل التوازن لدى البالغين المصابين باعتلال الأعصاب المتعدد.<br/>6) مقارنةمع الأشخاص العاديين كمجموعةمراقبة.<br/><br/><br/> |
