| Summary, etc. | <br/>Thirty-eight patients with chronic cervical MPS with age ranged from 18 to 40 years old. They were referred by an orthopedist with latent myofascial trigger points. They were allocated into two equal groups A and B receiving the conventional physical therapy (PT) program only and the conventional PT program with SMC training program respectively. All patients received 12 sessions, three times a week for four consecutive weeks. Pain intensity, cervical JPS, cervical ROM, and function disability were evaluated using the VAS, the head reposition neutral test, smartphone clinometer application, and the AR-NDI respectively. The conventional PT with the SMC training program is more effective than the conventional PT program only in reducing pain intensity and improving cervical JPS but they were equal in increasing cervical ROM and improving functional disability for patients with chronic cervical MPS.<br/> |

| Summary, etc. | شارك في هذه الدراسة ثمانية وثلاثون مريضاً من كلا الجنسين لديهم ألم عضلي ليفي عنقي مزمن. وقد تراوحت أعمارهم بين 18 إلى 40 عاماً. تم تشخيصهم من قبل طبيب العظام بالألم العضلي الليفي العنقي المزمن نتيجة لنقاط ألم عضلي ليفي كامنة. تم توزيع المرضى على مجموعتين متساويتين; المجموعة أ تلقت العلاج ببرنامج العلاج الطبيعي التقليدي فقط بينما المجموعة ب تلقت العلاج ببرنامج العلاج الطبيعي التقليدي بالاضافة إلي برنامج التدريب على التحكم الحركي الحسي. وقد تلقى جميع المرضى أثني عشرة جلسة من العلاج الخاضع للإشراف، ثلاث جلسات أسبوعياً لمدة أربعة أسابيع متتالية. وقد تم قياس شدة الألم، إدراك موضع المفصل العنقي، المدى الحركي العنقي، والإعاقة الوظيفية باستخدام المقياس البصري التناظري، اختبار إعادة وضع الرأس المحايد، تطبيق الهاتف الذكي لمقياس الميل، والنسخة العربية – مؤشر إعاقة الرقبة على الترتيب . برنامج العلاج الطبيعي التقليدي بالاضافة إلي برنامج التدريب على التحكم الحركي الحسي له تأثير فعال أكثر من برنامج العلاج الطبيعي التقليدي فقط في تقليل شدة الألم، تحسين إدراك موضع المفصل العنقي ولكن كانا متساويين في تحسين المدى الحركي العنقي والإعاقة الوظيفية لمرضى الألم العضلي الليفي العنقي المزمن. |
