Summary, etc. This study deals with increasing the efficiency of wind turbines, especially vertical <br/>axis types, by enhancing Savonius performance. Power extraction efficiency was <br/>improved by modifying the blade shape. The optimal blade profile shape for the <br/>Savonius turbine power coefficient is a key concern. The study used a converged <br/>solution of a Savonius turbine simulation with conventional blades as a starting point <br/>for optimization. The Adjoint method was then used to modify the blade profile shape <br/>to maximize torque. Two optimized shapes of the turbine blades were found (profile 1 <br/>and profile 2), out of which three turbine designs were proposed. Design 1 boosts <br/>turbine efficiency. <br/>

Summary, etc. تتناول هذه الدراسة زيادة كفاءة توربينات الرياح ، وخاصة أنواع المحاور الرأسية (السافونيوس). استخدمت الدراسة حلاً متقاربًا لمحاكاة التوربينة (السافونيوس) ذات الشفرات شبه الدائرية كنقطة انطلاق للتحسين، حيث تم استخدام برامج الحاسب الآلى التى تستخدم نهج التحكم العددى الأمثل لإيجاد التعديل الأمثل لشكل الشفرة لزيادة عزم الدوران. تم العثور على شكلين محسنين (بروفيل 1 بروفيل 2) تم اقتراح تصميم ثلاثة توربينات منها. يعزز التصميم الأول كفاءة التوربين من خلال الجمع بين بروفيل 1والبروفيل 2. أدى تحسين توزيع الضغط على أسطح الشفرات إلى زيادة عزم الدوران. يزيد التصميم 1 من معامل القدرة بنسبة 12.7٪ عند سرعة رياح تيار حر تبلغ 2 م / ث مقارنةً بتصميم نصف دائري
