Summary, etc. | Aim: The aim of this in-vitro study was to evaluate vertical and proximal contact accuracy of provisional 3D printed implant-supported restorations after being attached to implants using a complete digital workflow.<br/><br/>Methodology: Two fully dentate maxillary models were used in this invitro study and were considered as the reference models. The reference models were scanned with an extra-oral scanner to produce virtual reference models. The models were then modified to simulate partially edentulous arches. The first model was modified by removal of the right central incisor and right first molar to simulate the condition of missing a single anterior and posterior tooth (Model S). The second model was modified by removal of the left first and second premolars, as well as the first molar to simulate a condition of three missing teeth for a fixed partial denture (FPD) design (Model F). The two modified models (S&F) were scanned to produce virtual <br/>models which were 3D- printed five times for each design to produce the surgical models. A CBCT was carried out for the printed models and blue-sky bio software was used for implant planning, designing a tooth-supported surgical guide for each model, and designing the provisional restorations for the missing single anterior and posterior teeth that were planned to receive one implant and for the FPD design that was planned to receive two implants. Five surgical guides were 3D-printed for each design, also, the provisional restorations were 3D -printed (five single central incisors and five upper right first molar and five FPDs replacing upper left 1st, 2nd premolar and 1st molar. After implant installation using the fabricated surgical guides, the provisional restorations were immediately attached to the implants and scanned to produce virtual surgical models which were superimposed with the virtual preplanned models to measure the vertical and the proximal contact errors of the provisional restorations.<br/>Results: Regarding the vertical error, there was a statistically significant difference between the preplanned and the actual 3D-printed provisional restoration of the upper central incisor with a P-value (0.035). Similarly, there was a statistically significant difference between the preplanned and the actual 3D-printed provisional restoration of the FPD with a P-value (0.035). On the other hand, there was no statistically significant difference between the preplanned and the actual 3D-printed provisional restoration of the upper first molar with a P-value (0.15). There was no significant difference in vertical errors among the three groups, the central incisor, <br/>upper first molar, and FPD. Regarding the proximal contact error, the provisional restorations of the first molar showed the least frequency of proximal contact error than those of the upper central incisor and FPD.<br/><br/>Conclusion: Within the limitation of this in-vitro study, it can be concluded that most of the prostheses were associated with errors vertically and at the proximal contacts, therefore, the clinicians who plan to use the complete digital workflow should be prepared to adjust the prosthesis after implant insertion. |

Summary, etc. | هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى تقييم دقة الخطأ الرأسي و الخطأ في التماس الجانبي للتركيبات المؤقته المصنعه بالطباعه الثلاثية ثلاثية الأبعاد بعد إرفاقها بالغرسات باستخدام سير عمل رقمي كامل..<br/> تم استخدام نموذجين للتدريب على الفك العلوي للتخطيط للتركيبات الاصطناعية المؤقتة المفردة الأماميه (S-Ant) والأخرى الخلفية (S-Post) ، والجسر الذي يمتد من غرسة الضاحك الأول إلى غرسة الضرس الأول الخلفية. تم استخدام برنامج تجاري لتخطيط مكان الغرسات وتصميم الأدله الجراحية وتصميم التركيبات الاصطناعية المؤقتة. تم طباعة ما مجموعه 5 نماذج جراحية لكل نموذج للفك العلوي و5 أدله جراحية و جميع التركيبات المؤقته بالطباعه الثلاثية ثلاثية الأبعاد. بعد وضع الغرسات في كل نموذج جراحي، تم ربط التركيبات الاصطناعية المؤقتة بالغرسات وتم مسحها ضوئيًا لإنتاج نماذج جراحية افتراضية. تم تركيب النماذج الجراحية الافتراضية مع النموذج المخطط مسبقًا لقياس الخطأ الرأسي، الخطأ في التماس الجانبي للتركيبات المؤقتة. و أظهرت النتائج انه فيما يتعلق بالخطأ الرأسي ، كان هناك فرق ذو دلالة إحصائية بين التركيبات المؤقتة الفعليه المطبوعة و المخطط لها للقاطع المركزي العلوي بقيمة( p: 0.035) ،بينما لم يكن هناك فرق ذو دلالة إحصائية بين التركيبات المؤقتة الفعليه المطبوعة و المخطط للضرس العلوي الأول بقيمة p 0.15). و كان هناك فرق ذو دلالة إحصائية بين التركيبات المؤقتة الفعليه المطبوعة و المخطط لها للجسر بقيمة p 0.035). و لم يكن هناك فرق كبير في الأخطاء الرأسية بين المجموعات الثلاث، القاطع المركزي، والضرس العلوي الأول، والجسر.بالنسبه للخطأ في التماس الجانبي أظهرت التركيبات المؤقته للضرس العلوي أقل معدل في تكرار الخطأ.<br/>تم استخلاص الاتي من هذه النتائج: أن جميع التركيبات المؤقته كانت مصحوبه بالخطأ الرأسي و بالخطأ في التماس الجانبي و لذلك يجب علي جميع الأطباء الذين يستخدموا سير عمل رقمي كامل أن يكونوا جاهزين لاجراء التعديلات علي التركيبات المؤقته بعد وضع الغرسات. |
