| Summary, etc. | This prospective clinical study was conducted to evaluate the adequacy of One-Point Fixation using digitally customized plates in minimally displaced zygomatic complex fractures. After history, physical and radiographic examinations as well as neurologic and ophthalmologic examinations, ten cases of minimally displaced recent unilateral zygomatic complex fractures were included in the study. The computed tomography radiographic images of the fractures were used in specific software to virtually reduce the fractured segments through mirror imaging the intact side. Fixation plates were then digitally customized over the virtually reduced complex then fabricated using grade 5 titanium alloys . Fractures were surgically reduced according to the virtual planning and fixed on the zygomatico-maxillary buttress through intraoral vestibular incisions using the customized 3-d plates. During the follow up period, functions and patients’ satisfaction regarding esthetics were measured and they were both satisfactory in all of the cases. Adequacy of reduction of the fractured segment was compared between the actual surgical reduction and the preoperative virtual planning, using digital measuring technique, and there was no statistically significant difference found. The technique of intraoral one point fixation on the zygomatico-maxillary buttress of minimally displaced zygomatic complex fracture using this digital virtual technique showed esthetically and functionally satisfactory results. The surgical reduction was adequate with less operative time and no extraoral scars. |

| Summary, etc. | اجريت هذه الدراسة السريرية المرتقبة لتقييم مدى كفائة التثبيت بنقطة واحدة باستخدام شرائح مخصصة رقمياً لحالات الكسور الوجنية ذات الحد الأدنى من النزوح. بعد اخذ التاريخ المرضي وتاريخ الحادثة وبعد عمل الفحوصات السريرية والشعاعية وكذلك الفحوصات العصبية وفحوصات العيون، تم تضمين عشر حالات من كسور الوجنة الحديثة الموجودة في جانب واحد فقط من الوجه وذات الحد الأدنى من النزوح في الدراسة. تم استخدام الصور الشعاعية للتصوير المقطعي المحوسب للكسور في برنامج حاسوب محدد لرد الجزء المكسورافتراضيا أعتمادا على انعكاس صورة الجانب السليم. تم بعد ذلك القيام بالتصميم الرقمي لشرائح تثبيت ثلاثية الابعاد على الكسر الذي تم رده رقميا ، ثم تصنيعها باستخدام التيتانيوم من الدرجة الخامسه . تم رد الكسور جراحياً وفقاً للتخطيط الافتراضي وتثبيتها في نقطة واحدة باستخدام اللوحات المخصصة من خلال شق جراحي داخل الفم تحت المخدر العام. خلال فترة المتابعة، تم قياس رضاء المرضى فيما يتعلق بالشكل الطبيعي للوجه بعد رد وتثبيت الكسر وكذلك عن مدى استرجاع كافة الوظائف المتعلقة بعظام الوجنة، وكانوا جميعًا راضين عنهما.هذا وقد تمت مقارنة مدى دقة إعادة ترميم الجزء المكسور بمقارنة الرد الجراحي لعظام الوجنة بعد العملية بالرد الافتراضي قبل الجراحة ، بواسطة تقنية القياس الرقمي، ولم يوجد فرق ذو دلالة بين النتائج بعد العمليه والخطه العلاجيه المصممه علي الحاسوب. وهكذا يمكن ان نستنتج من هذه الدراسة ان رد و تثبيت الكسور الوجنية ذات الحد الأدنى من النزوح في نقطة واحدة من خلال شق جراحي داخل الفم، باستخدام هذه التقنية الرقمية الافتراضية لها نتائج دقيقة ومرضية من الناحية الجمالية والوظيفية. كما انها تخفض الوقت اللازم للعملية مع استبعاد الند بات الجراحية الناتجة عن الشقوق الجراحية في الوجه. |
