| Summary, etc. | Vitamin D deficiency is very common in women of reproductive age. Some studies suggested a relation between vitamin D and pregnancy outcome. Assisted reproductive technology has been widely used technology in infertility treatment in recent decades. The present study aimed to evaluate the effect of vitamin D deficiency and vaginal inflammation on the pregnancy rate following frozen embryo transfer. 188 women were enrolled in the study. They were divided into two major groups according to the vitamin D level Group I (Vitamin D deficiency) with vitamin D level <30 ng/ml, Group II (Normal vitamin D) with vitamin D level ≥30 ng/ml. Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI) outcomes and vitamin D level were compared between the two groups. There is a statistically significant association between vitamin D levels and pregnancy rates (p<0.001), while there is no significant association between either vaginal inflammation and pregnancy rates, nor vaginal inflammation and vitamin D. In conclusion we found vitamin D deficiency was independently associated with lower pregnancy rates, while vaginal inflammation has no impact on pregnancy rates. |

| Summary, etc. | تأثير نقص فيتامين د والتهاب المهبل على معدلات الحمل بعد نقل الأجنة المجمدة"يعتبر نقص فيتامين (د) شائعًا جدًا عند النساء في سن الإنجاب. اقترحت بعض الدراسات وجود علاقة بين فيتامين (د) ونتائج الحمل. تم استخدام تقنية الحقن المجهرى على نطاق واسع في علاج العقم في العقود الأخيرة. هدفت الدراسة الحالية إلى دراسة تأثير نقص فيتامين (د) والتهابات المهبل على معدلات الحمل بعد نقل الأجنة المجمدة. تم تسجيل 188 امرأة في الدراسة. تم تقسيمهم إلى مجموعتين رئيسيتين وفقًا لمستوى فيتامين د المجموعة الأولى (نقص فيتامين د) بمستوى فيتامين د أقل من 30 نانوغرام / مل ، المجموعة الثانية (فيتامين د طبيعي) بمستوى فيتامين د اكبر من او يساوى 30 نانوغرام / مل. تمت مقارنة نتائج الحقن المجهري ومستوى فيتامين (د) بين المجموعتين ، خضعت جميع النساء لمسح مهبليه لاستكشاف التهابات المهبل. في الختام وجدنا أن نقص فيتامين (د) كان مرتبطًا بشكل مستقل بمعدلات الحمل المنخفضة ، في حين أن الالتهابات المهبليه ليس له أي تأثير على معدلات الحمل. |
