Summary, etc. Background: Technology is the language of new era, applying electronic learning (E-learning) is efficient tool for many challenges faced education process, one of most appropriate solution to continue learning process during the pandemic in 2019 (COVID-19). Aim: Assess baccalaureate nursing students’ readiness toward electronic learning at South Valley University. Study design: A descriptive cross sectional, research design was used to carry out this study. Sample: A convenience sample (703 ) of baccalaureate nursing students. Setting: the study was conducted at South Valley University. Tools: Two tools were used to collect the study data as follows: 1st tool was the personal characteristic data sheet, 2nd tool was the E- learning readiness questionnaire that consisted of (58) items divided into six dimensions. Results: The main findings indicated that the highest mean percentages were given to the domains of use of technology, motivation for learning, availability of technology, followed by the domains of time management, self confidence in using technology and training for using technology. Conclusion: It was concluded that half of participants had high readiness level toward E-learning while one quarter of study sample have moderate level and last quarter have low level. Recommendations: The faculty should provide training programs to students to assist them in understanding the electronic learning better and make its benefit clear, provide computer labs. with sufficient computers and reliable internet for students who don’t own computers at home and provide professional development to ensure that teachers can effectively use e-learning.
