| Summary, etc. | Background: De Quervain's Tenosynovitis is painful stenosing tenosynovitis of the first dorsal compartment of the wrist that affects physical function. So, it is necessary to decrease pain in De Quervain's tenosynovitis.<br/>Aim of the study: to compare the efficacy of Phonophoresis and Low- level laser therapy on De Quervain's Tenosynovitis after delivery.<br/>Subjects and methods: This study was carried out on Forty multiparous women suffering from De Quervain's Tenosynovitis (for at least 3 months after delivery), they were selected randomly from the outpatient clinic of Sadat general hospital – Al Menoufia from January to March 2024. They were randomized into two groups: Phonophoresis and low-level laser therapy on De Quervain's Tenosynovitis after delivery both augmented by thumb spica and exercise program.<br/>The assessment procedure was done for all patients in both groups (A&B) before and after treatment course using Visual analogue scale and measuring serum cortisol level early in the morning to estimate level of her pain and percentage of improvement in pain sensation for each patient. as well as percentage of improvement in plasma cortisol level.<br/>Results: At the end of the treatment course, percentage of improvement in VAS and plasma cortisol levels was significantly high in the group(A) compared to the group(B) which means that Phonophoresis was more effective than using Low level laser therapy in relieving De Quervain's Tenosynovitis after delivery.<br/>Conclusion: Ketoprofen phonophoresis is more efficient than low level laser therapy in treating Dequervain tenosynovitis after delivery |

| Summary, etc. | الخلفية العلمية : يعتبر مرض التهاب أوتار الابهام في السيدات بعد الولادة حالة تسبب الألم و تؤثر على الأنشطة اليومية والعناية بالطفل، وإنه من الضرورى تقليل نسبة الألم. <br/>هدف البحث: يهدف هذا البحث الى مقارنه تأثير ماده الكيتوبروفين المدخله بواسطه الموجات الصوتيه العلاجيه بتأثير الليزر منخفض الشده العلاجي في علاج إلتهاب أوتار الابهام في السيدات ما بعد الولادة.<br/> مواد و أساليب البحث: أجريت هذه الدراسة على أربعين امرأة مرضعة يعانين من التهاب أوتار الابهام بعد 6 اسابيع علي الأقل من الولادة. تراوحت أعمارهم بين ( ٢٥ - ٣٥ ) سنة. لم يتعدى مؤشر كتلة الجسم ٣٠ كغم / م ٢ وتراوحت أعداد انجابهم السابقه بين (٢-٤) طفل, تم توزيعهم عشوائياً في مجموعتين متساويتين في العدد :<br/>مجموعة (أ) : تلقت هذه المجموعة العلاج بماده الكيتوبروفين المدخله بواسطه الموجات الصوتيه لمدة خمس دقائق ، ٣جلسات إسبوعيا لمدة 4 اسابيع مع استخدام جبيره المعصم وبالاضافه الي عمل تمارين علاجيه لمدة 30 دقيقة ٣ مرات / أسبوع لمدة 4 اسابيع.<br/> مجموعة (ب) : تلقت هذه المجموعة العلاج بالليزر منخفض الشدة لمده 90 ثانيه ٣جلسات إسبوعيا لمدة 4 اسابيع مع استخدام جبيره المعصم وبالاضافه الي عمل تمارين علاجيه لمدة ٦٠ دقيقة ٣ مرات / أسبوع لمدة 4 اسابيع. <br/>وقد تم تقييم المرضى قبل وبعد 4 اسابيع من المداخلة العلاجية بإستخدام مقياس النظرى البصرى ونسبة الكورتيزول في الدم. <br/>النتائج : بعد نهاية مدة العلاج كانت نسبة التحسن في مقياس شدة الألم ونسبة الكورتيزول في الدم في المجموعة الاولي (أ) اعلي من المجموعة الثانيه (ب) مما يعني ان الليزر منخفض الشدة كان أفضل في علاج ألالام المفصل العجزي الحرقفي بعد الولادة.<br/> الاستنتاج : نستخلص من نتائج البحث أن تأثير ماده الكيتوبروفين المدخله بواسطه الموجات الصوتيه العلاجيه بعد الولادة أكثر فعالية من تأثير الليزر المنخفض الشده العلاجيه في تقليل شدة الألم الحالية و خفض مستوى الكورتيزون في الدم. |
