Camels play a crucial role as a valuable resource for milk, meat, fur, and are extensively used for transportation and various other purposes. Despite their potential applications in medicine. Pulsed wave Doppler echocardiography and intra-cardiac dimensions in adult camels have not been extensively studied, particularly in relation to gender, physiological state and racing. The objective of this study was to provide information on the normal cardiac appearance, chamber dimensions, hematobiochemical profile, and pulsed wave Doppler echocardiography in camels in relation to gender, she camels based on physiological state and adult racing camels. A total number of 127 camels were examined divided into (36 females and 11 males), (20 pregnant, 20 lactating and 20 non-pregnant non-lactating) and (20 racing camel). The camels were reared on South Sinai Research Station and King Marriott Research Station, Desert Research Center. Male camels showed higher levels of Hb, MCH, MCHC, and monocyte, while female camels showed higher levels of PCV, MCV, WBCs, and neutrophil. Males have slightly higher sodium and potassium levels than females, our study revealed that significant differences in intraventiricular septum; systole (IVSTs) between males and females, with females slightly having higher IVSTs, but no significant differences were found in other parameters even Doppler echocardiography.<br/> Regarding to physiological state, there was a significant decline in PCV values and WBC at late pregnancy and early lactation compared to the pre-pregnancy stage, a significant increase in (RBC) and Hb levels in she camels during late pregnancy compared to early-lactation and pre-pregnancy stages. Biochemical analysis showed a significant decrease in glucose and cholesterol serum concentrations and an increase in BHBA concentration in she camels during late pregnancy and early lactation compared to pre-pregnant stages. Late-pregnancy she camels showed a significant increase in serum albumen, globulin, K, and cardiac troponin levels compared to early lactation and pre-pregnancy phases. There was a significant increase of serum level of ALT and AST activity at the pre-pregnancy she camel compared to others while the serum level of NEFA increased significantly in the she camel at early lactation only. During early lactation, there was a significant increase in LVWPs in she camels compared to pre-pregnant and late pregnancy periods, while LVIDs showed a reverse trend. There was a significant rise in HR in the late pregnancy she camel. No significant differences were found in Doppler echocardiography.<br/> In the racing dromedary camels, the caudal long-axis four-chamber view of the ventricles, atria, and interventricular septum was acquired in the fourth or fifth intercostal space (ICS) on both the left and right sides. The right ventricle, left ventricle, and interventricular septum were evident in the short-axis picture of the cardiac ventricles that was acquired in the fourth intercostal space (ICS) with a small clockwise rotation. Pulsed wave Doppler measurements are used to determine mitral, tricuspid, and maximum aortic valve velocity in all camels, while measuring the pulmonary valve.<br/><br/> |

تلعب الإبل دورًا حاسمًا كمورد قيم للحليب واللحوم والفرو، وتستخدم على نطاق واسع في النقل وأغراض أخرى مختلفة. على الرغم من تطبيقاتها المحتملة في الطب. لم تتم دراسة تخطيط صدى القلب بالموجات الدوبلر النبضية والأبعاد داخل القلب في الإبل البالغة على نطاق واسع، خاصة فيما يتعلق بالجنس والحالة الفسيولوجية والسباق. كان الهدف من هذه الدراسة هو تقديم معلومات عن المظهر الطبيعي للقلب، وأبعاد الحجرة، والملف الكيميائي للدم، وتخطيط صدى القلب بالموجات الدوبلر النبضية في الإبل على أساس الجنس، والإبل على أساس الحالة الفسيولوجية وجمال السباق البالغة. تم تقييم إجمالي 127 من الإبل مقسمة إلى (36 أنثى و11 ذكر)، (20 حامل، 20 مرضع، 20 غير حامل وغير مرضع) و(20 جمل سباق). تم أخذ العينات من محطة بحوث جنوب سيناء ومحطة بحوث مريوط التابعين لمركز بحوث الصحراء في مصر.<br/>أظهرت الإبل الذكور مستويات أعلى من Hb، MCH، MCHC، وحيدات الخلية، بينما أظهرت الإبل الإناث مستويات أعلى من PCV، MCV، كرات الدم البيضاء، والعدلات. لدى الذكور مستويات صوديوم وبوتاسيوم أعلى بقليل من الإناث، ووجدت الدراسة اختلافات كبيرة في الحاجز داخل البطيني؛ الانقباض (IVSTs) بين الذكور والإناث، مع وجود إناث أعلى قليلاً من IVSTs، ولكن لم يتم العثور على فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في المعلمات الأخرى حتى تخطيط صدى القلب دوبلر.<br/> وجدت الدراسة انخفاضا معنويا في قيم PCV وكريات الدم البيضاء في أواخر الحمل وأوائل الرضاعة مقارنة بمرحلة ما قبل الحمل، وزيادة معنوية في مستويات (RBC) وHb في الإبل أثناء أواخر الحمل مقارنة بمرحلة الرضاعة المبكرة وما قبل مراحل الحمل.وجدت الدراسة انخفاضا معنويا في تركيز الجلوكوز والكوليسترول في مصل الدم وزيادة في تركيز BHBA في الإبل أثناء أواخر الحمل والرضاعة المبكرة مقارنة بمراحل ما قبل الحمل. أظهرت الإبل في أواخر الحمل زيادة كبيرة في مستويات زلال الدم والجلوبيولين والبوتاسيوم والتروبونين القلبي مقارنة بمراحل الرضاعة المبكرة وما قبل الحمل. كان هناك ارتفاع كبير في معدل ضربات القلب في أواخر الحمل. لم يتم العثور على اختلافات كبيرة في تخطيط صدى القلب دوبلر.<br/>في سباق الجمال العربيه، تم الحصول على المنظر الذيلي طويل المحور ذو الأربع حجرات للبطينين والأذينين والحاجز بين البطينين في الفضاء الوربي الرابع أو الخامس (ICS) على الجانبين الأيسر والأيمن. كان البطين الأيمن والبطين الأيسر والحاجز بين البطينين واضحين في صورة المحور القصير لبطينات القلب التي تم الحصول عليها في الفضاء الوربي الرابع (ICS) مع دوران صغير في اتجاه عقارب الساعة. تستخدم قياسات دوبلر الموجة النبضية لتحديد سرعة الصمام التاجي، وثلاثي الشرفات، والحد الأقصى لسرعة الصمام الأبهري في جميع الإبل، بينما يتم قياس الصمام الرئوي.<br/> |
