The research aims to investigate the significance of selecting an appropriate and reliable design storm with a reliable hyetograph, as it greatly affects the hydrologic and hydraulic modeling. Through the case study of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the research studies 7,192 historical storms with a ten-minute temporal resolution, collected from 73 stations across the study area. In order to construct a reliable hyetograph using the methodologies; ABM, Euler II, and Huff. The resulting hyetographs are then evaluated graphically and statistically using correlation coefficient strength. The research results in a group of recommended hyetographs for 16 groups of storms representing different storm durations in different areas, with recommendations of using them. |

تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى البحث في أهمية اختيار عاصفة تصميم مناسبة وموثوقة مع عاصفة مطرية تصميمية موثوقة، حيث يؤثر بشكل كبير على النمذجة الهيدرولوجية والهيدروليكية. من خلال دراسة حالة المملكة العربية السعودية ، تستعرض الدراسة ٧١٩٢ عاصفة تاريخية بدقة زمنية عشر دقائق، تم جمعها من ٧٣ محطة في مناطق الدراسة. وذلك لبناء عاصفة مطرية تصميمية موثوقة باستخدام المنهجيات: ABM، Euler II، و Huff. يتم تقييم العاصفة المطرية التصميمية الناتجة بشكل بياني وإحصائي باستخدام معامل الارتباط. تؤدي الدراسة إلى مجموعة من العواصف المطرية التصميمية الموصى بها ل١٦ مجموعة من العواصف التي تمثل مدد عواصف مختلفة في مناطق مختلفة، مع توصيات للاستفادة منها. |
