| Summary, etc. | The study discussed the element of "place" in the contemporary Hebrew novel "Asylum City " by the Israeli writer Liad Shoham. The study adopted a descriptive analytical method, as well as relied on the psychological approach to explain the relationship of influence between the place and the characters. The study was divided into an introduction, with a preface explaining the importance of the element of place in the narrative text and introducing the writer. Then there is the first chapter entitled "Place and Its Dimensions in the Novel “Asylum City," which consists of three sections, followed by the second chapter entitled "Place and Its Role in Constructing the Novel" also with three sections. Finally, there Is a conclusion. a list of sources and references, and a translation appendix. |
