The aim of the work is to assess the value of using biotechnology in rapid detection of C. perfringens toxins evaluate the role of C. perfringens toxins in laboratory animal diseases and to determine the incidence of C. perfringens in laboratory animal . One hundred and twenty four (124) isolates of C. perfringens recovered from 16 apparently normal rats , 15 from apparently normal 26 from diseased rats 27 from diseased rabbits 12 from water and 28 from pellets offered to studied animals were bacteriologically identified and typed |
