| Summary, etc. | Although contrast enhanced MR imaging of the breast is sensitive for detection of invasive breast cancer, its reported specificity is variable. DWI represents an easy complementary quantitative breast imaging sequence providing valuable information on benign and malignant lesions by characterizing tumor cellularity. DWI has shown high sensitivity for breast cancer thus recommended as a part of routine preoperative examination and represents promising tool for screening |
