Self-excited induction generators (SEIG) are being considered as an alternative choice to the well developed synchronous generators because of their relative advantageous features. The major problems in the operation of the SEIG are, guaranteeing the self-excitation, and regulating the voltage and frequency of the generator under different operating conditions |
