The purpose of this study was to evaluate the efficacy of insertion of Gelatamp" in the surgical extraction socket on the postoperative complications following odontectomy of impacted mandibular third molar tooth. Thirty patients were assigned to two groups; group (A) where Gelatamp was applied locally in the extraction socket after the surgical removal of impacted tooth and group (B) where Gelatamp was not applied in the socket |
