Summary, etc. The current study was designed to elucidate the effect of high energy fat diet contain either saturated or unsaturated fatty acid on lipid peroxidation, some antioxidant enzymes as well as some biochemical parameters in immature and mature male albino rats. For these purpose a total number of 150 male rats were used. The animals were divided according to the feeding regime into three main groups, 50 rats each
