520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC.
Summary, etc. In this study, liquid chromatography with different detection techniques was employed for pharmaceutical analysis. The capabilities of ultra performance liquid chromatography (UPLC) coupled to MS / MS detector have been applied for pharmaceutical determinations. MS / MS detector depends on the mass / charge ratio (m/z) as a signal. It combines the advantages of the high sensitivity and specificity for the tested analytes. UPLC is the recent evolution in chromatography. It depends on decreasing the particle size of the stationary phase and thus improving the resolution and reduces analysis time. This advanced approach has been applied to separate pharmaceutical mixtures with greater efficiency and determination of UV silent aminoglycosides. The approach had been applied to separate drug impurities in trace amounts. Besides, this technique has been applied to the analysis of some drugs in plasma for toxicological and bioequivalence applications
