To evaluate the efficacy of the Kinesio taping on pain after laprascopic cholecystectomy. Methods of evaluation (Measurement of the visual analouge scale and the numeric rating scale). 30 patients with pain after laprascopic cholecystectomy, were divided into two groups. Group (A) received the Kinesio taping plus the analgesic medication. Group (B) received only the analgesic medication, duration of the Kinesio taping application was eight days in the form of muscle application applied from distal to proximal attachment on the external abdominal oblique muscles on the left side, muscle application applied on the internal abdominal oblique muscles on the right side and fascial application on the liver area. Results showed that the Kinesio taping was effective and fruitful in decreasing pain after laparoscopic cholecystectomy |
