| Summary, etc. | Information about distinct in - situ soil permeability and characterization models represent major problems to geotechnical engineersAccordingly , this study was performed by statistical analysis to develop a rational model for predicting permeability of soil using a combination between laboratory and field measurementsPhysical verification model for predicting overall field effect on the soil permeability was developedThe major contribution here was the incorporation of laboratory and field measurement at same soil conditions then physical model was performed as unique representation of rational modelThe rational model was compared with those of existing empirical modelsThe rational model appears to overcome difficulty in the conventional models and yield results compare satisfactory with measured data |
