Summary, etc. The purpose of this study was to investigate the adaptability and related gap at tooth restoration interface of three different flowable restorations. Thirty freshly extracted human sound premolars were used. Standardized class V cavities were prepared on both the buccal and lingual surfaces. The teeth were divided into three groups of ten each and filled with three different flowable composite resins which are: conventional flowable composite, self-adhesive flowable composite and flowable compomer. Each group was subdivided into two equal sub-groups of five according to aging periods of 24 hours and 6 months. The restored samples were stored in artificial saliva and placed inside isotemp incubator at 37{u02DA}C during the aging periods. After aging, the samples were stored in methylene blue dye for 24 hours and then sectioned. The tooth restoration interfaces of the specimens were examined by using stereomicroscope and the data was statistically analyzed by using kruskal wallis test and mann whitney U- test. It was found that self-adhesive flowable composite showed the worst sealing ability and more microleakage than the other two materials, while conventional flowable composite and flowable compomer showed no significant difference and less microleakage. Storage times did not have a significant effect on leakage scores. The sealing ability and adaptation of self adhesive flowable resin composite is questionable. Conventional flowable composite and flowable compomer showed comparable clinical performance regarding marginal sealing. The quality of the marginal seal of the tested restorations was not influenced by the aging periods chosen in the study. Flowable resin composites can function successfully in the short term period
