| Summary, etc. | The present palynological study of drazia-1 and Tut-85 wells has been performed on 216 cutting samples from the Alam Elbueib Formation (barremian) to khoman formation (maastrichtian). This study yielded 76 species of terrestrial palynomorphs, 29 species of dinoflagellate cysts were recorded in addition to micro Foraminiferal test lining and acritarchs. From the quantitative and qualitative analyses of the studied interval, twelve interval and assemblage palynozones with two interval subzone were proposed for the studied sections, these are described as follow: Dinogymnium acuminatum odontochitina operculata Interval zone: (maastrichtian). Odontochitina operculata odontochitina porifera Interval zone: (campanian). Odontochitina porifera total range Zone: (coniacian santonian). Foveotricolpites giganteus equisetosporites ambiguus Interval zone: (middle-late turonian). Equisetosporites ambiguus and Ephedripites multicostatus assemblage zone: (early turonian). Classopollis brasiliensis afropollis jardinus Interval zone: (late cenomanian). Afropollis jardinus araucariacites australis Interval zone: (early-middle cenomanian). Elaterosporites klaszii elaterocolpites castelanii assemblage subzone: Cretacaeiporites densimurus trilobosporites laevigatus assemblage subzone. Crybelosporites pannuceus elaterosporites klaszii araucariacites australis assemblage zone: late albian. Concavissimisporites punctatus murospora florida interval zone: (middle albian). Murospora florida pilosisporites verus interval zone: (Aptian). Pilosisporites verus Impardecispora marylandensis interval zone: (late barremian). Impardecispora marylandensis appendicisporites sp. aequitriradites spinulosus assemblage zone - early barremian |
