Real life problems are usually characterized by uncertain models. The multiobjective transportation problems become the most complex within uncertain environment. This problem can be solved by the uncertain programming such as stochastic programming, fuzzy programming and rough programming. Because of its important, this thesis discusses the multiobjective transportation problems in uncertain environment. It describes problems resulting from the presence of the rough interval data. The multiobjective transportation problems in rough interval environment are called rough interval multiobjective transportation problems (RIMOTP), and can be classified into three different cases according to the existence of the roughness. The roughness may exist in the objective function only, may exist constraints only, or all the problem coffietions are rough. This thesis presents three solution types for completely rough interval transportation problems. These solution types can be defined based on the knowledge of decision maker (DM). The DM may understand a rough interval solution, may understand a conventional interval solution or may understand deterministic solution only. Also, the thesis discusses the deterministic solution for rough interval multiobjective transportation problem in the three cases according to the existence of roughness. Such solution types found by using surely feasible region and possibly feasible region and compare their results. Finally, this thesis discusses the others solution types for rough interval multiobjective transportation problems that satisfy all the requirements of decision maker |
