Summary, etc. In the current study, the influence of Nano particles on mechanical properties and durability of normal concrete and high strength concrete (HSC) has been investigated at ages of 28, 56 and 90 days. Two nano particles types were used; nano-silica with ratios 1%, 2%, 3% of cement and nano-clay with ratios 5%, 7%, 9% of cement. The results showed that nano particles can be very effective in improvement of mechanical properties and durability of concrete and the highest enhancement was obtained using 2% nano-silica or 7% nano-clay. Also, the scanning electron microscopy (SEM) study of the microstructures showed that the nano particles filled the cement paste pores and make the microstructure denser
