Summary, etc. Nanofluids, in which nano-sized particles of scale less than 100 nm are surged in fluids, have shown to possess enhanced heat transfer characteristics than common fluids. In this work, a numerical study, using Finite Element Streamline Upwind Petrov Galerkin SUPG method, is performed to study the heat transfer characteristics of nanofluids. The heat transfer coefficient and the wall shear stress are analyzed for alumina Al2O3 nanoparticles submerged in water and ethylene glycol as a base fluid under laminar forced convection in a channel. It is also assumed that the nanoparticles distribution in the base fluid is non-homogenous
