520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC.
Summary, etc. Purpose: This study was conducted to assess the professionalism core values perception of female physical therapists (PTs) in physical therapy departments in General Organization for Teaching Hospitals and Institutes (GOTHI), and Hospitals of Directorates of Ministry of Health (DMH) of Egypt; and if there is difference in professionalism core values perception of female PTs according to years of experience. Participants: 60 female PTs on duty in Physical Therapy Departments 230 female PTs in GOTHI (10 female PTs in each of National Institute for Neuro-Motor System, Ahmed Maher Teaching Hospital, and El-Sahel Teaching Hospital) and 30 female PTs in Hospitals of DMH (10 female PTs in each of El-Tahrir General Hospital, El-Nozha General Hospital, and Manshiet El-Bakry General Hospital)3, Cairo and Giza Governorates, Egypt. Methods: A questionnaire developed by APTA (2003) was used as a selfassessment tool. Analysis: Mean and standard deviation were quantified for all variables, while percentage was used to describe the highest graduation and years of experience variables. Levene{u2019}s test was used to examine the homogeneity of variance with p values was set at 0.05, Shapiro-Wilk test was used to examine the normality of data, one way between subjects MANOVA was conducted to compare the mean values of these dependent variables (the total score of Accountability, Altruism, Compassion / Caring, Excellence, Integrity, Professional Duty, Social Responsibility core values and total score of questionnaire) between both groups with alpha level was set at 0.05, and multiple pairwise comparison tests (Post hoc tests) were used to compare both core values between both groups. Results: There was significant differences between both groups in graduation distribution with favour to group (A) as 83.3 % of this group were post graduated while in group (B) only 33.3 % of this group were post graduated. So, higher graduations positively affect the professionalism due to curiosity and morals of research. Conclusion: higher graduations positively influence the level of professionalism because of gaining more knowledge, research morals and curiosity, and deep thinking of how to provide better health care services
