The random amplification polymorphic DNA (RAPD - PCR) method used for identification and generate fingerprint pattern to ten species of meat : Beef , Buffalo , Sheep , Goat , Camel , Pig , Horse , Donkey , Dog and CatThis technique is based on DNA amplificationusing short primers only six of 10 - mer primers , two triplex of each three of its primers and one program required , the amplicons were resolved on 2 agarose gelIt was demonstrated that this method could be used for identifying meat speciesThis study provides a simple , fast and sensitive fingerprinting method in species identify of red meat species but this technique still need to expensive equipment
