Dissertation note: Thesis (Ph.D.) - Cairo University - Faculty Of Engineering - Department Of Civil Engineering Summary: The objective of this thesis is to remove phosphorus from domestic wastewater in order to prevent eutrophication of surface waters.the dymanic simulation technique [BPR Test] and the empirical adapted modified Equation [A.Zayat , 2008] have been developed based on the biochemical relationship (readily biodegradable soluble COD) , for the advanced biological phosphorus removal (EBPR) process of the wastewater treatment plants of interest to reach an effluent quality of total phosphate (1mg / l) , to comply with the environmental protection standards in kingdom of saudi Arabia , for direct discharge to the red sea and Arabian gulf
