Dissertation note: Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty Of Science - Department Of Organic Chemistry Summary: In conclusion , we could show that enaminonitriles 1d - g are readily obtainable and are excellent starting materials for synthesis of functionally substituted heterocycles as well as new dienes and azadienes that seem of interest for utility in further chemical transformations , and are capable to react with electrophiles at C 2 especially when morpholino substituent is introduced at C 3 to increase nucleophilicity at C 2
