Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty Of Science - Department Of Astronomy and Meteorology
The study of the coefficient of variability over Egypt in summertime shows that it ranged from 394 to 1084The COV of summer temperature is usually about 5It is indicated that the summertime temperature for Lower Egypt shows stability than the summertime temperature for Upper EgyptThe pattern of increased variability in the Upper Egypt areas contrasted to the decrease of variability in the Lower areas this indicates that there are significant spatial differences in variability across Egyptian regionsThe correlations between COV and mean summertime temperature , latitude , and longitude indicated that cool stations are more variable than warm stations , also stations in the south are more variable than stations in the north and stations in the east are more variable than stations in the westRelationship between COV and latitude is highly significant , while it is non - significant with longitude and mean temperature
