Dissertation note: Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Science- Department of Inorganic Chemistry Summary: This work had been carried out to investigate the coordination behaviour of two Schiff bases with SNO coordination sites, towards some bi-and trivalent metal ions like Cr(III), Mn(II), Fe(III), Co(II) (CI, C1O4),Ni(II) (CI,C1O4),Cu(II) and Zn(II).The ionization constants of the Schiff bases under investigation as well as the stability constants of their metal chelates are calculated pH-mettrically at 25oC and ionic strengthu=0.1 50%(v\v)ethanol-water mixture
