Shoot tip explants of The mango cvs. zebda , hindy and alphonso were tested for sterilization. Explants washed with soaped water for at least 30 min and treated with resolex at 1.0 g/1 for 30 min , treated inside the laminar hode for 20 min with clorox at 50% then HCI at 15% for 10 min gave the best result for survival rate and decreasing contamination and it is cultivar dependant
