Dissertation note: Thesis (Ph.D)-Cairo University, 2022. Summary: Since first described by Luce (3) in 2005, the Ocular Response Analyzer (ORA, Reichert Ophthalmic Instruments, Depew, New York) has been widely used for in vivo assessment of corneal biomechanics(4-6). Recently the Corvis ST (CST; corneal visualization Scheimpflug technology) (Oculus, Wetzlar, Germany) has been introduced as a clinical tool for evaluating corneal biomechanical properties in vivo. By using the ultra-high scheimpflug speed camera, Corvis ST provides much more information than ORA(7). This instrument displays corneal deformation in real time and records the deformation parameters for analyzing corneal biomechanics(8). In the current study, we compared the corneal biomechanical properties of normal patients before and after performing different laser vision correction (LVC) procedures; Femto-laser assisted in situ keratomileusis (Femto-LASIK), Laser assisted in situ keratomileusis (LASIK) and photorefractive keratectomy Summary:
