سعت هذه الدراسة إلى التعرف على أسلوب المعالجة الإعلامية للأحداث الإرهابية بالقنوات الفضائية العربية الإخبارية عينة الدراسة (cbc اكسترا نيوز- الحدث السعودية-الجزيرة مباشر-سكاى نيوز). كماحاولت التعرف على أساليب عرض وتناول تلك القنوات الفضائية محل الدراسة للقضايا والأحداث الإرهابية على المستوي المصرى والعربي والدولي. بالإضافة إلى محاولة تقييم قدرة هذه القنوات في التأثير على جمهورها وشعوره بالقلق أوالخطر تجاه التهديدات المجتمعية والأزمات الأمنية المختلفة، باعتبار أن القنوات الفضائية الإخبارية من أهم أدوات التأثير على الرأى العام وحياتهم ومصالحهم الاجتماعية.
كما سعت هذه الدراسة إلى الوصول لبعض المقترحات والتوصيات لتطوير منظومة المعايير المهنية التى تركز عليها التغطيات الإخبارية بالقنوات الفضائية الإخبارية المصرية فى ظل خصوصية المرحلة الزمنية الراهنة. بالإضافة إلى التعرف على كثافة تعرض الجمهور المصرى للنشرات الإخبارية بالقنوات الفضائية الإخبارية عينة الدراسة. وقياس درجة اعتماد الجمهور المصرى على القنوات الفضائية الإخبارية المصرية والعربية فى التعرف على الأحداث الإرهابية بمختلف دول العالم. كذلك التعرف على عادات وأنماط مشاهدة الجمهور المصرى للقنوات الفضائية الإخبارية عينة الدراسة. ودرجة إدراك المشاهد لما تعرضه القنوات الفضائية الإخبارية محل الدراسة من أحداث ومخاطر إرهابية على ردود الفعل المجتمعى، وكذلك قياس درجة الإحساس بالخطر والشعور بالخوف والقلق وفقدان الأمان داخل المجتمعات

In addition to trying to assess the ability of these channels to influence their audience and their feelings of concern or danger towards societal threats and various security crises, given that satellite news channels are among the most important tools for influencing public opinion, their lives and their social interests.This study also sought to reach some proposals and recommendations to develop a system of professional standards that focus on the news coverage of the Egyptian satellite news channels in light of the privacy of the current time period. In addition to measuring the degree of dependence of the Egyptian public on Egyptian and Arab satellite news channels in identifying terrorist events in various countries of the world. As well as identifying the habits and patterns of watching the Egyptian audience for satellite news channels, the study sample. And the degree of the viewer's awareness of the terrorist events and risks presented by the satellite news channels under study, as well as measuring the degree of sense of danger, fear, anxiety and loss of safety within societies.
