تتبلور مشكله الدراسة الرئيسية فى تفاقم حجم الفجوة من الزيوت النباتية فى الاونة الاخيرة نتيجة الزيادة المستمره فى الكميات المستهلكة منها بمعدلات تفوق الزيادة فى أنتاجها , الأمر الذى ترتب عليه ضرورة الأستيراد مما يشكل عبئا على الميزان التجارى للدولة وأضطراب خطط التنمية الاقتصادية.وقد أستهدفت الدراسة بصغة عامة الوضع الراهن لأهم المحاصيل الزيتة وذلك من خلال التعرف على الوضع وتطور كلا من المساحة والأنتاج والأنتاجية للمحاصيل محل الدراسة . والتعرف على استهلاك المحاصيل الزيتية والزيوت النباتية الغذائية فى مصر والتعرف على حجم الفجوة وتطور متوسط نصيب الفرد ، التعرف على الوضع الراهن للتجارة الخارجية من الزيوت النباتية لتقليص العبء على ميزان المدفوعات المصرى . بينت الدراسة حجم الفجوة الغذائية من السلع الرئيسية فى مصر وبتحليل تطور الفجوة الغذائية تبين مدى كبر حجم المشكلة لذلك ترى الدراسة وضع سياسات واجراءات من شأنها تقليل الفجوة وتتضمن هذه الاجراءات والسياسات زيادة الانتاج من ناحية وترشيد الاستهلاك من ناحية أخرى بحيث يسيرا فى خطين متوازيين.وترشيد الاستهلاك لا يعنى تقليل او خفض المستوى الغذائى ولكن يعنى تحسين كمى ونوعى للسلع الغذائية.

The main problem of the study is crystallized in the exacerbation of the
size of the gap of vegetable oils in recent times as a result of the continuous
increase in the quantities consumed from them at rates exceeding the increase
in their production, which resulted in the necessity of import, which
constitutes a burden on the country’s trade balance and the disruption of
economic development plans.
The current status of the most important oil crops, through identifying
the situation and development of both area, production and productivity of
the crops under study. Learn about the consumption of oil crops and edible
vegetable oils in Egypt, the size of the gap and the evolution of the average
per capita share, the current status of foreign trade of vegetable oils, to reduce
the burden on the Egyptian balance of payments.
The study showed the size of the food gap among the main
commodities in Egypt, and by analyzing the evolution of the food gap, it
shows the extent of the problem. Therefore, the study considers setting
policies and procedures that will reduce the gap. These measures and policies
include increasing production on the one hand and rationalizing consumption
on the other hand, so that they go in two parallel lines. It does not mean
reducing or reducing the food level, but rather improving the quantity and
quality of food commoditie
