تناولت هذه الدراسة الأشكال الآدمية في الرسوم الصخرية التي تنتمي لمنطقة جنوب غرب شبه الجزيرة العربية الامتداد الجغرافي لها إلى عسير وتهامة خلال الفترة الممتدة من الألف السادس قبل الميلاد إلى القرن الرابع قبل الميلاد، من خلال مقدمة وتمهيد وأربعة فصول. وتضمن التمهيد الإطار الطبوغرافي والتاريخي لجنوب غرب شبه الجزيرة العربية. في حين اشتمل الفصل الأول على مدخل للرسوم الصخرية في جنوب غرب شبه الجزيرة العربية وأهميتها وأساليب تنفيذها وإشكالية تأريخها. وتناول الفصل الثاني المناظر التي تصور مظاهر الحياة الاقتصادية، خاصة ما ارتبط بمناظر الصيد والرعي والقتال والمعارك، في حين اشتمل الفصل الثالث على المناظر التي تصور مظاهر الحياة الاجتماعية المشتملة على مناظر التزاوج، المناظر ذات الطابع العقدي أو الديني وأخيرا مناظر الرقص والاحتفال. وتناول الفصل الرابع والأخير دراسة عناصر مميزة للأشكال الآدمية في مناظر الرسوم الصخرية مثل قصات الشعر والملابس والحلي والأسلحة، وتفصيل لأنواعها وكيفية ظهورها. وقد توصلت الدراسة لتأصيل بعض الرسوم، وكذلك الربط والمقارنة بينها وبين رسوم بمواقع أخرى تنتمي لمواقع مجاورة، دلالةَ على وجود اتصال حضاري بينهم، وإلى ارتباط رسوم صخرية بعينها خلال فترات زمنية متعددة.

This study deals with the human figures in the rock drawings belonging to the southwestern Arabian Peninsula, the geographical extension to Asir and Tehama during the period extending from the sixth millennium BC to the fourth century BC, through an introduction, a preface and four chapters.
The preface included the topographical and historical framework of southwestern Arabia.
The first chapter included an introduction to the rock drawings in the southwest of the Arabian Peninsula, the importance of these drawings, the methods of their implementation, and the problem of their dating.
The second chapter dealt with scenes that depict aspects of economic life, which include scenes of hunting, grazing, fighting and battles.
The third chapter included scenes that depict aspects of social life, including scenes of mating, scenes of a religious or religious nature, and finally scenes of dance and celebration.
The fourth and final chapter dealt with the study of the constituent elements of human forms such as hair styles, as well as the accompanying elements of human forms such as clothes, jewelry and weapons, and a detail of their types and how they appear in the scenes of rock paintings belonging to the study area.
The study found the rooting of some drawings, as well as linking and comparing them with drawings in other sites belonging to neighboring sites, an indication of the existence of a civilized connection between them, and the association of specific rock drawings during multiple time periods.
