انطلقت الدراسة من التركيز حقوق الأقليات في القانون الدولي وخاصة ان هذا الموضوعات من الموضوعات التي تحمل العديد من التوترات في العلاقات بين الدول ، والتركيز على الحماية الدولية لهذه الفئة على الصعيد العالمي من أجل ضمان الحماية الخاصة بهم فمشكلة الأقليات من المشاكل القديمة التي اهتم بها القانون الدولي العام، فقد تطورت بتطور القانون الدولي العام واتخذت أشكال مختلفة، وأولي القانون الدولي اهتماماً واسعاً بموضوع الأقليات وجاءت العديد من الاتفاقيات والمواثيق الدولية التي نصت على كفالة حقوق الأقليات سواء بشكل منفصل أو من خلال النص على ضمان حقوق الأقليات كجزء من حقوق الإنسان ككل ولكن على الرغم من الحماية العالمية للأقليات لكن نلاحظ ان الاقليات تعاني من العديد من المشاكل الواضحة على كافة المستويات ومن ضمن الاقليات التي تعاني من مشاكل الأقلية المسلمة في بورما التي تعرضت للعديد من الانتهاكات من قبل الأغلبية المسيطرة.

This Study aims to analysis the legal status of minorities in international law in influencing the access of minorities to their rights, while applying this to one of the models of minorities at the global level, which is the case of the Rohingya minority due to the widespread violations suffered by this minority that contradict the most basic human rights, namely their right to life.
In this regard, the study sought to analyses the problem of minorities as a very Complicated issue given that it leads to conflict and fighting within the state, as each of the parties to the conflict has its own vision and view of events that are characterized by contradiction as a result of the clear contradiction.
In the end, the study concluded that despite the international mechanisms that ensure the rights of minorities clearly, but at the same time these minorities did not receive special support, perhaps the model in this regard is the Muslim minority in Burma.
