لقد جاء موضوع هذه الرسالة ، وهو ”الحماية الجنائية للطفولة ـ دراسة مقارنة” لمحاولة الإجابة على الإشكالية المثارة فيها وهي مدى كفاية السياسة الجنائية التي إنتهجها المشرع المصري والمقارن في توفير هذه الحماية ، ولقد أُستُهِلَت الرسالة بمبحث تمهيدي تناولنا فيه مفهوم الطفل محل الحماية الجنائية ، ثم جاء الباب الأول لتناول صور الحماية الجنائية للطفل المجني عليه ، وذلك من خلال أربعة فصول عالجت تباعاً الحماية الجنائية لحقه في الحياة ، ولجسمه وتعريضه للخطر ، ثم عِرّضِه وشرفه والإستغلال الجنسي له ، وأخيراً حقوقه الثقافية ، ثم أعقبت ذلك بالباب الثاني الذي تناولت فيه صور الحماية الجنائية للطفل الجانح ، وقد وقع هذا الباب في ثلاثة فصول تناولت تباعاً المسئولية الجنائية للأطفال الجانحين ثم التدابير المطبقة على الأطفال الجانحين وأخيراً الأحكام الإجرائية بشأن الأطفال الجانحين.

The subject of this thesis, which is ”criminal protection for childhood - a comparative study”, came to try to answer the problem raised in it, which is the adequacy of the criminal policy pursued by the Egyptian and comparative legislature in providing this protection. The first chapter came to deal with the forms of criminal protection for the victim child, through four chapters that dealt successively with the criminal protection of his right to life, his body and endangering him, then his exposure, honor, sexual exploitation, and finally his cultural rights, then followed that with the second chapter in which I dealt with the forms of criminal protection The delinquent child, and this chapter was signed in three chapters dealing in succession with the criminal responsibility of delinquent children, then the measures applied to delinquent children, and finally the procedural provisions regarding delinquent children.
