The current study aims to study the motivation factors and how they are related to the request for help, because the performance of the individual and his insistence on doing or continuing these actions depends on his motivation, and the motivation factors affect students’ decisions to use self-regulated learning strategies, including: The strategy of asking for help, a student with an intrinsic orientation is likely to look at asking for help as a performance means to excel in the task when it is actually required, and a student with an extrinsic orientation is likely to look at asking for help as a useful means to complete the task and the teacher’s approval when it is not Asking for help is often required. Motivational processes affect students’ search for or avoidance of challenges, their perseverance in facing difficulties or withdrawing from them, and their use of their skills. Asking for help can fit both internal and external goals of achievement. Asking for help may not be directed only by internal struggle to develop competence and progress.
