This thesis was conducted during the time period between (2021-2022) in order to identify the role of information technology in supporting decision-making during crisis management and the extent of the impact of the use of technology in reducing the effects of crises and disasters for workers in crisis management and disasters in more
than one sector, such as Egyptian Civil Defense and Search and Rescue Center. The focus was on two important scientific aspects, the first: the administrative aspect represented in crisis management, and the second aspect: represented by information technology with the most important applications on it represented in the information
system, decision support systems, computer simulation, artificial intelligence, communications and networks.
The study community represented workers and crisis managers in more than one sector and agency, whose work is directly related to administrative and practical information technology, as it aimed to identify the extent of awareness of the concept of crisis management through the use of the scientific methodology in management thought in addition to identifying the real reality of the role of information technology And the extent of their impact on supporting decision-making, then identifying the role of the crisis management team in reducing the effects resulting from it, and using expert systems as advanced science in facing various crises, computer simulation and databases, and identifying the degree of their existence and the suitability of these
advanced systems to the science of crisis management. And the extent to which workers in the areas of facing crises understand and train to use them, and thus the extent of the impact of information technology on crises and disasters management.

اجريت هذه الرسالة خلال الفترة الزمنية 2021-2022 بغرض التعرف على دور تكنولوجيا المعلومات فى دعم اتخاذ القرار اثناء ادارة الازمات و مدي تاثير استخدام التكنولوجيا فى الحد من الاثار الناجمة عن الازمات فى اكثر من قطاع مثل هيئة الدفاع المدنى المصرية و مركز البحث و الانقاذ و تم التركيز على جانبين مهمين من الجوانب العلمية و هما الاول : الجانب الادارى متمثلا فى ادارة الازمات و الجانب الثانى : متمثلا فى تكنولوجيا الملعلومات مع اهم التطبيقات عليها المتمثل فى نظام المعلومات و نظم دعم القرار و المحاكاة الحاسوبية و الذكاء الاصطناعى و الاتصالات و الشبكات
