تتناول الدراسة مناظر الزرافة دراسة فنية ودينية، وتستند الدراسة على إلقاء الضوء على عدد كبير من المشاهد الخاصة بالزراف عبر عصور مصر القديمة بدءًا من عصور ما قبل التاريخ إنتهاءًا بالعصر البطلمي.
وتنقسم الرسالة إلى مقدمة وخمسة فصول، وخاتمة تضمنت أهم النتائج التي توصل إليها البحث.
الفصل الأول: يتناول دراسة طبيعة وبيئة حيوان الزرافة، حيث أن دراسة بيئة وحياة وسلوك الحيوان تُساعد كثيرًا في كشف العديد من التفاصيل التي نراها مصورة في بعض المناظر، كما تناول هذا الفصل النصوص التي ورد بها ذكر كلمة الزرافة في النصوص الدنيوية، والنصوص الدينية.
الفصل الثاني: يتناول دراسة وتحليل أهم مناظر الزرافة، وذلك في الرسوم والنقوش الصخرية في عصور ما قبل التاريخ وبداية الأسرات .
الفصل الثالث: يتناول دراسة وتحليل مناظر الزرافة على أدوات الحياة اليومية والجنائزية خلال فترات ما قبل الأسرات وحتى بداية الأسرات.
الفصل الرابع: يتناول دراسة مناظر الزرافة خلال العصور التاريخية بدءًا من عصر الدولة القديمة وحتى العصر البطلمي.
الفصل الخامس: يتناول الدراسة التحليلية لمناظر الزرافة خلال العصور المصرية القديمة، تحليلًا فنيًا وآخر دينيًا، وارتباط الزرافة بالمعبودات مثل رع، وست، ومين.
وأخيرًا الخاتمة وتتضمن أهم النتائج التي توصل إليها البحث بإختصار، كما تم إلحاق عدد من الجداول والمقارنات، التي توضح الفروق بين مناظر الزراف في كل فترة على حدة، كما تشمل أيضًا توزيعًا جغرافيًا لمناظر الزراف على مدار التاريخ المصري القديم، بدءًا من عصور ما قبل التاريخ وحتى العصر البطلمي.

The study is based on shedding the light on the scenes of giraffe in ancient Egypt,
by analyzing these scenes with artistic and religious study, beginning with the
prehistory periods to the Ptolemaic era.
The study is divided into an introduction and five chapters and conclusion which
include the results of the study.
The first chapter: is about the natural and behavior of the giraffe, to clarify What
drew the attention of the ancient Egyptian of the giraffe. In addition, the study of the
daily and religious texts which mentioned the word of giraffe.
The second chapter: is about study the scenes of giraffe on the rock art during the
prehistory and early dynastic periods.
The third Chapter: is about the scenes of giraffe on the daily life and funerary objects
during the predynastic and early dynastic periods such as: pottery vessels, palettes,
seals, knives handle.
The fourth chapter: is about the scenes of giraffe during the dynastic periods, from
the old kingdom to the late and Ptolemaic periods.
The fifth chapter: is bout studying the scenes of giraffe with analyzing these scenes
artistic and religious, and the association between giraffe and some gods such as, the
God Re, God Seth, and God Min.
The conclusion includes the important results of the study, and how the giraffe was
one of the most important gifts which was presented to the ancient Egyptian kings
by the southern people.
The study includes an appendix, provides with comparison tables of the scenes of
giraffe, and the difference between each period.
