تهدف دراسة هذين الألبومين إلى نسبة عدد من صورهما غير المؤرخة إلى مدارسها الفنية الأصلية عن طريق مقارنتها بالصور الثابت نسبتها الى تلك المدارس، وتحليليها بأسلوب علمي صحيح، وذلك اعتماداً على المصادر والمراجع العلمية المتخصصة، وتصحيح كثير من الأخطاء، وكذلك التعرف على الأساليب الفنية للفنانين الوارد توقيعهم على بعض التصاوير، والوقوف على أسلوبهم الفني مثل "شيخ عباسي " والذي خلت الدراسات العربية المتعلقة بالتصوير الإسلامي من ذكره أو أسلوبه الفني، والكشف عن أعمال جديدة لمشاهير المصورين مثل بهزاد، ورضا مصور لم تكن معروفة من قبل. تم تقسيم الدارسة إلى مقدمة، تمهيد، وخمسة فصول، وخاتمة، وزُيلت الدراسة بقائمة لأسماء الحكام الصفويين والأباطرة المغول بالهند وفترات حكمهم، فهرس اللوحات ، قائمة المصادر والمراجع التي تم الاستعانة بها في الدراسة.
وقد اتبع الباحث في دراسته منهجاً علمياً سليماً؛ مما أدي إلي الخروج بمجموعة من النتائج الجديدة والتى جاءت في صميم البحث في مجال تخصص التصوير الإسلامي.
The study of these two albums aims to attributing a number of their undated images to their original artistic schools by comparing them with images that are fixed attributable to those schools, and analyzing them in a correct scientific manner, based on specialized scientific sources and references, correcting many errors, as well as identifying the artistic methods of the artists mentioned.
Their signature on some of the paintings, and their artistic style, such as "Sheikh Abbasi", which the Arab studies related to Islamic painting did not mention or his artistic style, and the discovery of new works by famous photographers such as Behzad and Rida Musawwar that were not known before. The study was divided into an introduction, a preface, five chapters, and a conclusion.
The study was followed by a list of the names of the Safavid rulers and the Mughal emperors in India and their periods of rule, an index of paintings, and a list of sources and references that were used in the study. In his thesis, the researcher followed a sound scientific approach. Which led to the coming out with a set of new results, which came at the core of the research in the field of specializing in Islamic photography.
