تهدف الدراسة في المقام الأول إلى تحديد العوامل المرتبطة بالبطالة بين الشباب المتعلم (بطالة المتعلمين) في مصر ، بالإضافة إلي الأهمية العلمية للدراسة هناك أيضا الأهمية المجتمعية حيث أصبحت الحاجة ضرورية لدراسة مشكلة بطالة المتعلمين لآثارها السلبية علي المجتمع وشباب الخريجين ، يعتبر الشباب من أهم الموارد التي تحتاجها البلدان لتحقيق الرخاء. يمكن للشباب المتعلمين إجراء تغييرات جذرية في معدلات التنمية الاجتماعية والاقتصادية إذا تم استخدامهم وإدارتهم بشكل جيد. ومع ذلك ، أصبحت البطالة بين الشباب تحديًا رئيسيًا للسياسات لجميع دول العالم. إنها ليست مجرد مفهوم إحصائي ، ولكنها أيضًا ظاهرة اجتماعية متعددة الأبعاد، ينتج عنه أزمات كبيرة في المنظورات النفسية والاجتماعية والاقتصادية ، بعضها: زيادة معدلات الجريمة والعنف ، والاعتماد على الأسرة ، وتدني احترام الذات ، وضعف التكيف الاجتماعي ، والاكتئاب وفقدان الثقة . كما أن البطالة تؤثر على الوضع الاجتماعي والاقتصادي للأسرة ، وتؤدي إلى ضعف الصحة العقلية والتبعية وتزيد من حجم الفساد وإدمان المخدرات والجرائم والانتحار في المجتمع.

The study aims primarily to identify the factors associated with unemployment among educated youth (educated unemployment) in Egypt, In addition to the scientific importance of the study, there is also the societal importance, as the need has become necessary to study the problem of student unemployment due to its negative effects on society and young graduates, Youth are considered one of the most important resources that countries need to achieve prosperity. Educated youth can bring about radical changes in the rates of social and economic development if they are used and managed well. However, youth unemployment has become a major policy challenge for all countries of the world. It is not just a statistical concept, but also a multidimensional social phenomenon, resulting in major crises in psychological, social and economic perspectives, some of which are: increasing rates of crime and violence, dependence on the family, low self-esteem, poor social adaptation, depression and loss of confidence. Unemployment also affects the social and economic situation of the family, leads to poor mental health and dependency, and increases the extent of corruption, drug addiction, crime, and suicide in society.
