هدفت الدراسة إلى المساعدة في قياس أثر استخدام مدخل التكلفة المستهدفة على تحسين الأداء المالي ومن ثم دراسة مدي انعكاس هذا التأثير على تحقيق التنمية المستدامة في منشآت الأعمال الصناعية المصرية.
ولتحقيق هدف الدراسة تم استخدام أسلوب دراسة الحالة من خلال دراسة حالة إحدى شركات تصنيع وتجميع السيارات العاملة في المجتمع المصري خلال مشاركتها في مبادرة إحلال السيارات المتهالكة التي مر على تصنيعها أكثر من عشرون عاما بسيارات جديدة تعمل بالغاز الطبيعي.
وقد تم اعتماد أسلوب دراسة الحالة كأفضل أسلوب يوفر معلومات وبيانات حقيقية وواقعية بسبب الطبيعة الوصفية والديناميكية المتغيرة لموضوع الدراسة والبيئة المحيطة به، واستخدمت الدراسة في جمع البيانات أسلوب الملاحظة والمقابلات المنظمة وغير المنظمة مع موظفين على صلة بموضوع البحث داخل المنشأة محل الدراسة وكذا مع عدد من الموردين، بالإضافة إلى البيانات التي أمكن جمعها من التقارير المنشورة وغير المنشورة الخاصة بالمنشأة محل الدراسة.
وتوصلت الدراسة إلى العديد من النتائج أبرزها أن مدخل التكلفة المستهدفة يساعد على توفير البيانات والمعلومات التي تساعد على تخفيض التكاليف ومن ثم تحسين الأداء المالي إلا أنه يحتاج إلى بيئة مستقرة نسبيا لزيادة الفاعلية والكفاءة في تنفيذه، وكذا يساعد على تحقيق التنمية المستدامة على مستوي المنتجات من خلال دمج متطلبات التنمية المستدامة في تنفيذ المدخل، وأيضا أن التحسن في الأداء المالي يساعد علي تحقيق متطلبات التنمية المستدامة وكذا أن المردود المالي الجيد من وراء تنفيذ متطلبات التنمية المستدامة يشجع جميع الأطراف علي تحقيق التنمية المستدامة سواء علي مستوي المنشآت من خلال مزايا اقتصادية مثل تخفيض التكاليف وتجنب الغرامات أو زيادة الأرباح سواء علي المدي القصير أو الطويل وكذا زيادة القدرة التنافسية والصورة الإيجابية من خلال دعم العاملين ودعم المجتمع المحيط بها، أو علي مستوي الأفراد من خلال الاستفادة من المزايا التي تقدمها المنتجات صديقة البيئة بما يؤكد وجود علاقة تأثير متبادل بين الأداء المالي والتنمية المستدامة وخاصة علي المدي المتوسط والطويل.

The study aimed to help measure the impact of using the target cost approach on improving financial performance and then study the extent to which this impact reflects on achieving sustainable development in Egyptian industrial business facilities.
To achieve the objective of the study, the case study method was used by examining the case of a car manufacturing and assembling company operating in the Egyptian community during its participation in the initiative to replace dilapidated cars that have been manufactured for more than twenty years with new cars that run on natural gas.
The case study method was adopted as the best method that provides real and realistic information and data due to the descriptive nature and the changing dynamic of the subject of the study and its surrounding environment. In addition to the data that could be collected from the published and unpublished reports of the facility under study.
The study reached many results, most notably that the target costing approach helps to provide data and information that help reduce costs and thus improve financial performance, but it needs a relatively stable environment to increase effectiveness and efficiency in its implementation, as well as helps achieve sustainable development at the level of products through Integration of the requirements of sustainable development in the implementation of the entrance, and also that the improvement in financial performance helps to achieve the requirements of sustainable development, as well as the good financial return behind the implementation of the requirements of sustainable development encourages all parties to achieve sustainable development, whether at the enterprise level through economic advantages such as reducing costs and avoiding Fines or increased profits, whether in the short or long term, as well as increasing competitiveness and a positive image by supporting workers and supporting the surrounding community, or at the level of individuals by taking advantage of the advantages offered by environmentally friendly products, which confirms the existence of a mutual influence relationship between financial performance and sustainable development Especially in the medium and long term.
