استهدفت الدراسة التعرف على طبيعة العلاقة بين صورة الجسم المدركة وبين كل من تقدير الذات والكفاءة الاجتماعية للأطفال ذوي القوقعة الإلكترونية في فصول الدمج، وكذلك إمكانية التنبؤ بكل من تقدير الذات والكفاءة الاجتماعية من خلال صورة الجسم المُدركة، والكشف عن الفروق بين أفراد العينة وفقا لمتغيري النوع(ذكور/إناث)، ونوع الدمج (دمج جزئي/ دمج كلي)، وتكونت عينة الدراسة من من(97) طفلاً وطفلة من الأطفال ذوي القوقعة الإلكترونية (67 من الذكور، و28 من الإناث)، ممن تراوحت أعمارهم ما بين (9-12)عامًا، بمتوسط حسابي (10.701)، وإنحراف معياري(1.522)، وترواحت معاملات ذكائهم ما بين (90-110) درجة على مقياس ستانفورد بنيه (من ملفات الأطفال)، بمتوسط حسابي(95.403)، وإنحراف معياري(03.775). واستخدمت الباحثة المنهج الوصفي لمناسبته لطبيعة الدراسة، وتم تطبيق المقاييس الثلاثة للدراسة: مقياس صورة الجسم، ومقياس تقدير الذات ومقياس الكفاءة الاجتماعية لدى الأطفال ذوي القوقعة الإلكترونية (إعداد الباحثة)، وقد توصلت نتائج الدراسة إلى وجود علاقة ارتباطية موجبة بين متوسطات درجات الأطفال ذوي القوقعة الإلكترونية على مقياس صورة الجسم المُدركة ودرجاتهم على مقياس كل من: تقدير الذات والكفاءة الاجتماعية، كما توصلت نتائج الدراسة إلى أنه لا توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين متوسطات درجات أفراد العينة تبعًا لمتغيري النوع ونوع الدمج على مقياس صورة الجسم باستثناء بُعد صورة الجسم المعرفية، وذلك لصالح الذكور، ومقياس تقدير الذات، وكذلك مقياس الكفاءة الاجتماعية، كما تُنبئ صورة الجسم المُدركة(الأبعاد والدرجة الكلية) بكل من تقدير الذات والكفاءة الاجتماعية باستثناء بعد صورة الجسم المعرفية غير مُنبئ بالكفاءة الاجتماعية.

The study aimed to identify the nature of the relationship between perceived body image and both self-esteem and social competence for children with cochlear implants in inclusion classes, as well as to predictability of both self-esteem and social competence from perceived body image, and the detect differences between the sample members according to the variables of gender (males or females), inclusion type (partial inclusion or total inclusion), detect differences between the sample members according to the variables of gender (males or females), inclusion type (partial inclusion or total inclusion),. The study sample consisted of 97 male and female children with cochlear implants (67 males and 28 females), whose ages ranged between 9 and 12 years, with an mean of (10.701), and a standard deviation of (1.522), and whose and their IQs ranged between (90-110) degrees on The Stanford Benne scale was used with an mean of (95.403), and standard deviation (03.775), and the researcher used the descriptive approach due to its suitability for the nature of the study. The three scales of the study (the body image scale, the self-esteem scale, and the social competence scale) were applied to children with cochlear implants (prepared by the researcher). The results of the study concluded that there is a positive correlation between the mean scores of children with cochlear implants on the perceived body image scale and their scores on self-esteem and social competence.
