المسؤولية المدنية لمأمور الضبط القضائي هي مسألة قانونية تتعلق بالتبعية المالية لأفعاله وقراراته التي تسبب ضررا للغير ويتحمل تبعيتها المتبوع له مدنيا وفق أحكام المسؤولية عن فعل الغير .
حيث يعتبر مأمور الضبط القضائي شخصًا يعمل على تنفيذ قرارات شبيهه بالقرارات القضائية في إلزامية المتهمين بالحضور والإدلاء بشهادتهم وتسليم أنفسهم وغيره إضافة إلى قيامه بتقديم إجراءات تنفيذية.

الجدير بالذكر أن أحد الجوانب الأساسية للمسؤولية المدنية لمأمور الضبط القضائي هو أنه مسؤول عن الأضرار المادية أو المالية التي يتسبب فيها نتيجة قيامه بأعمال التحري في مرحلة جمع الاستدلالات.
